Bethesda took to the stage for its own E3 2016 presentation last night to announce a whole host of stuff, one of which caught the imagination of players all over the world.
The famous fan-favourite Skyrim has been announced for the PS4 and other platforms. Yes, Skyrim is the latest game to get the remaster treatment. The next-gen port is due to release on October 28th, 2016, and it’ll boast improved graphics over the last-gen edition as well as a number of tweaks to the gameplay experience. Oh, and did we mention that mod support is coming, too? No? Well it is, just like in Fallout 4.
There’s a trailer down below but you’ll have to skip to the three-minute mark to see Skyrim running on PS4. There’s a brief comparison between the PS3 and PS4 version of the game that shows just how much work has gone into this remaster. Oh, one last thing: it’s not called Skyrim Remastered, it’s Skyrim: Special Edition, but we’re just going to go ahead and call it Skyrim Remastered because it’s easier.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
