Well, it’s official: Sony has acknowledged the long-rumoured PS4 Neo, although we won’t be seeing it anytime soon.
Speaking with Financial Times, Andrew House, president and global chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment, stated that the PS4 Neo would cost more than the current $350 PS4 model.
“It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4,” the Welshman told Financial times. “We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle.”
House also noted that we shouldn’t expect to see the PS4 being officially announced at this year’s E3 trade show. Perhaps we’ll get an official unveiling later in the year at Games com or the next Play Station experience? We will have to wait and see, but surely the firm will at least mention something about it at E3.
