Quantic Dream have been pretty quiet about their new game Detroit Become Human since it debuted last year. That changed at PlayStation’s E3 2016 press conference yesterday evening when they showed off a brand new trailer, which you can check out for yourself down below.
The trailer shows off a new playable character, named Conor, who is an android working for humans. He is called in to deal with a hostage situation after a family’s android kidnaps their daughter. It typical Quantic Dream fashion there are multiple outcomes to the situation and the trailer does a great job at demonstrating a few of them. Just like in their PS3 title Heavy Rain it looks like there will be genuine risk in Detroit and your playable characters could end up dying if you play your hand badly. The trailer also brings up one of the games overarching questions: should androids be our slaves or should they be free because they have their own conscience?
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think of Detroit Become Human down in the comments.

Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
