We have been wanting to play Beat Saber, since we learned it existed. The idea is simple and brilliant. It’s a rhythm game where you slash cubes in a specific direction with your dual lightsabers. With music from Jaroslav Beck, it looks and sounds like the second Tron movie, and that should be enough to get your heart pumping.
Even with its simple concept, the new trailer shows some intense levels that should give you plenty of challenge. The immersion in VR will (hopefully) push the experience to another level.
Check out the trailer to see why we are excited. So far, there is no release date, but we will be sure to let you know ASAP.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
