Techland has come out all-guns-blazing with a brand new Dying Light 2 trailer at this year’s E3 2019 and a release date announcement to give fans something to look forward to.
The new trailer gives us our first look at Dying Light 2’s hero, Aiden Caldwell, who is an infected survivor trying to make his way in the post-apocalyptic metropolis of The City.
It’s a decent trailer and it definitely has this Dying Light fan pumped for another zombie-filled romp, even if I was always too scared to explore at night…
In addition to the trailer, Techland also sent out a press release with a few extra details. Dying Light 2 is being developed with Techland’s in-house C-Engine. The game’s music is being handled by renowned composer Olivier Deriviere, whose music can be heard in the trailer up above.
As I sit and write this, I’m currently on my way to Los Angeles (via Germany, via London…) and I’ve just remembered that I will actually be going to a Dying Light 2 presentation on Tuesday, so expect more Dying Light 2 info then.
Dying Light 2 will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC Spring 2020.
