Square Enix has announced the release date for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake, and it’s a lot sooner than many of us had expected: March 3rd, 2020. That’s less than a year away!
The announcement came through last night as part of the Final Fantasy VII Live concert that Square Enix put on in Los Angeles. There’s also a brand new trailer that was released alongside the announcement, which you can watch up above. And yes, it actually has some gameplay, not just pretty CGI visuals.
Ever since the Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced, spectators have had little faith in the game actually releasing on PS4. However, it seems it will indeed make its way to PS4 and, judging by the release date, it’ll see the light of day on Sony’s PS5, too.
