Square Enix has announced Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, a Final Fantasy spinoff developed by Team Ninja, the studio behind the highly revered Nioh.
At the Square Enix showcase, they also dropped a trailer for the upcoming game. The gameplay style has taken a different direction from what you might expect from a Final Fantasy title and has embraced a Dark Souls battle system, which is certainly a bold new direction.
A free demo of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin was supposed to be available on the PS5 right now until June 24th. But unfortunately, the file is corrupt and won’t correctly download at this current time. On the official Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Twitter page, they have acknowledged the problem and are working towards solving this issue.
We're working to resolve this issue and will tweet an update as soon as we can, we appreciate your patience.

The story will centre around the protagonist, Jack and his two companions Ash and Jed, as they embark on opening the Chaos Shrine gates and defeating Chaos. However, are they the warriors foretold in the prophecy?
The high-paced action RPG will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is currently scheduled to arrive sometime in 2022, although no particular date has been given.
How do you feel about this Final Fantasy spinoff?
