EA Play 2020: Lost In Random Looks Like a Game by Tim Burton; Coming 2021
During EA Play tonight, they revealed Lost In Random. It’s under the EA Originals label, and its dark art style and direction is spectacular. It looks like a new Tim Burton film, but you can play it. The story takes place in the world of Random “where every citizen’s future is determined by the roll of a dice” according to the game’s official site. The main character, Even, discovers another powerful die named Dicey, and they go on a quest to break the curse.
You can catch more details in the full EA Play video, and I have some screenshots at the bottom. To see it in motion, the teaser trailer is posted at the top.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
