Fallout 4 Mods on PS4 Have Been Delayed, No New Release Date Given

Ah crap. This isn’t what PS4 owners wanted to hear. After months of being teased, Fallout 4 players on PS4 have been dealt a major blow with the announcement from Bethesda that mods aren’t going to be coming to the console on time.

Mods were supposed to be releasing on PS4 sometime soon, though Bethesda has now stated that they have been delayed on Sony’s console. The reason? Well, we’re not entirely sure as Bethesda hasn’t explained the reason behind the delay, though we can probably assume it has something to with the problems that arose during the beta period for the mods.

During first beta, Fallout 4 mods on PS4 were, to put it nicely, horrendous. There were issues with the audio and storage, as well as performance on Sony’s machine.

It’s a blow for players who’ve been patiently waiting to see what all the fuss is about, but what’s a little delay, right? It’s become the word of this generation, only behind ‘remaster’…

Peeved that mods are delayed, or are you happy enough with what’s already available in Fallout 4? Let us know down in the comments section below.
