Fans eager to relive their fond memories of Final Fantasy VII with the Final Fantasy VII RemakeFinal Fantasy VII Remake will have to wait a little bit longer, as announced by Square Enix today.
The game was originally slated to release in March, but the development team has released a statement explaining that the remake will be delayed. The new Final Fantasy VII Remake release date is now April 10th, 2020.
Producer Yoshinori Kitase said:
“We know that so many of you are looking forward to the release of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and have been waiting patiently to experience what we have been working on. In order to ensure we deliver a game that is in-line with our vision, and the quality that our fans who have been waiting for deserve, we have decided to move the release date to April 10, 2020.”
While it is a bummer for those who have been waiting so long for the game, the bright side is that it’s only an extra month of waiting. Surely you’ll find something else to occupy your time while you wait.
