Final Fantasy XII Remaster Releasing on July 11th
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age has been on our radar for awhile now. One of us here at PurePlayStation believes the twelfth entry is the best in the series and can’t wait for the remaster. (Do be gentle and don’t think of him any less if you find out). It was only a matter of time before a concrete release date other than this year arrived.
Thankfully at Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Celebration, they announced that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release globally for PlayStation 4s on July 11th, 2017. The remaster will feature the Zodiac Job System, a 12-job character progression system previously only available in the original Japanese version, a remastered soundtrack, 7.1 surround sound, an auto save feature, faster loading times, and a new Trial mode.
We are all for that auto save addition as getting to those orange crystals, that acted as manual save points, was annoying at times. Let us know what you’re looking forward to the most about the upcoming rendition and again, do go easy on the writer who loves the twelfth Final Fantasy.
