We’re just a few days away from the worldwide reveal for this year’s entry in the Call of Duty series which has been confirmed to be Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. You can watch the initial reveal trailer here.
Treyarch has since published a piece of artwork for the game to the studio’s official Twitter feed, and like the headline says, it’s surprisingly colourful for a Call of Duty game, and even more colourful than we’d typically expect from something in the Black Ops sub-series.
The image, which you can see down below and up above, shows two soldiers with their faces merged into one, presumably a leader and a footsoldier. Then there’s a whole bunch of what looks like Russian anti-America propaganda, as well as a few instances of “caught red handed.”
There’s probably some deeper meaning and some hidden messages that internet sleuths are already working on deciphering. I’ll just wait for the worldwide reveal on August 26th instead. I don’t need the headache…
