First Destiny 2 DLC Curse of Osiris Announced For December 5th

A little more of the universe will be in your hands come December as Bungie has announced that the first DLC for Destiny 2 will be available from December 5th. In the meantime the trailer above will have to suffice, but DO NOT watch it if you are yet to finish the main campaign in Destiny 2 as it features some pretty big spoilers. You have been warned.

Curse of Osiris, as it is called, will see you traveling to Mars to hookup with Osiris who has been banished from the Vanguard. The weight of the solar system is on your shoulders as it comes down to you to prevent Vex from opening a time gate, which would allow them to form an army capable of bad things. Very bad things, like smaller Toblerones and banishing pink Smarties.

The expansion will put Mercury centre stage in a way that it hasn’t been in the first installment and its sequel. And Osiris will also be less of a conundrum as you get to know him better as well. We also expect the download to be narratively strong as Bungie is determined to build on the acclaim it has garnered for Destiny 2’s story.

In your journey to find the nonconformist Warlock, you’ll bump into new NPCs, take on fresh challenges and pocket some too good to pass up loot.

As of yet its price is unknown, though the Expansion Pack, which was included in Destiny 2 deluxe version, covers the cost. And all we know of the second expansion is that it is unnamed and due out Spring 2018.

Has Destiny 2 outshone its predecessor in your eyes? Are you still tirelessly puzzling your way through raids? Or has Assassin’s Creed Origins / Wolfenstein 2 / South Park: Fractured But Whole / *insert popular game here* stolen your focus?
