Do you remember Alvo? I do, but barely. It’s a VR shooter that was announced all the way back in 2017 for PSVR. The developer, Mardonpol, released an exciting trailer alongside the game’s announcement. Aaaaand, that’s it.
Between then and now, Alvo has been cancelled and resurrected. The developer has released a brand new teaser trailer, albeit with a little more of a realistic target for PSVR and other virtual reality headsets. The original trailer, in hindsight, was never going to be the finished product.
At the moment all we’ve got is a new trailer. There’s not much information being shared by the developer, though the text accompanying the new trailer states that Alvo is a “first-person shooter for PlayStation Virtual Reality and Oculus.” Maybe it’ll actually release?
For comparison’s sake, the new gameplay footage is up above and the original trailer is down below.
