A new trailer has dropped for Downward Spiral: Horus Station, and it shows almost 17 minutes of gameplay. The creepy ship has been abandoned, and it is dark and quiet as you glide through the zero-g environments. Your anchoring gun (not the real name) in your left hand enables you to tether and pull yourself in 360 degrees.
This space station has no crew, but there are plenty of robots to shoot with the gun in your right hand. Going for a little more realism in their sci-fi, your weapons will be arc welders, rail guns, and bolt throwers.
You will have to solve puzzles, including the mystery of why the station is empty, if you want to survive. This survival can be in regular 2D or optional PSVR.
Since we were the smallest of children, until now when we would prefer to be slightly smaller adults, we have loved space. With our peak physical condition, that has translated into a love for games set in space, rather than actually going.
Give the gameplay trailer a watch, and we will let you know when you can be solving mysteries in Downward Spiral: Horus Station (no word on Trent Reznor’s involvement) later this spring.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
