Krome Studios is bringing the classic 3D platformer Ty the Tasmanian Tiger back onto the PlayStation 4 in the form of a remaster next week on July 25th. You beauty!
This HD edition of the game was able to come to fruition through Kickstarter that began in 2019 which quickly earned over $132,000 during the campaign. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD came out on the Switch earlier this year back on 31st March. On the Kickstarter page, it states that the PS4 version of the game will be available for purchase next Saturday (July 25th) digitally through the PlayStation Store.
If you’ve never heard of the game before, it follows a Tasmanian Tiger called TY through the Australian outback as he searches for the five talismans in the hopes to free his family. However, TY will have to collect some thunder eggs and throw a few boomerangs during his endeavours! Ty the Tasmanian Tiger was originally released back in 2002 on the PS2, Xbox and GameCube, that spanned into various sequels in the following years.
Will you be joining your favourite possibly extinct Tasmanian Tiger down under to throw a boomerang or two?
