Last night’s The Game Awards showed many a spectacle, but the big one that most PlayStation 4 owners were waiting on was perhaps the biggest and the best. Sony and Suckerpunch delivered a brand new trailer to fans, along with a release window for Ghost of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima will be releasing on PS4 sometime during the summer of 2020. There’s no firm release date as of yet, just a release window. It’s worth bearing in mind, though, that things could change, and a delay could happen. The Last of Us 2 had its release date announced, only for it to be delayed a few weeks later. Temper your expectations would be my advice.
The new trailer, which is up above, is a corker, to be fair. Running for just over four-and-a-half minutes, we get to see a mixture of gameplay and cinematics, as well as a bit of backstory about the titular Ghost character that we’ll be playing as come summer 2020.
It looks like Ghost of Tsushima, if it releases during summer 2020, will be the last of the big PS4 exclusives for this generation before the PS5 releases Holiday 2020. There’s a chance, then, that we could see the game ported to PS5, too. Fiver says yes?
