Ubisoft is slowly but surely easing Sam Fisher and the Splinter Cell franchise back into the mainstream. It all started with Sam Fisher’s cameo appearance in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and it’s happening again with Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
The new Deep State DLC for Ghost Recon Breakpoint features a series of missions with Splinter Cell’s grizzled Sam Fisher, who is once again being voiced by the spectacular Micahel Ironside. It’s nostalgia at its finest, and hopefully, it’s a teaser of a future Splinter Cell game to come. Perhaps on PS5 and Xbox Series X? Who knows. Until then, we’ve got the latest gameplay video for the Ghost Recon/Splinter Cell crossover DLC, Deep State, as well as a batch of screenshots that Ubisoft has sent over. Yes, that Sam Fisher holding a bad guy image is my new desktop, and it should be yours too!
