Gran Turismo Sport will be getting a free demo next week, though it’s only going to be available for a limited time before the game releases on October 17th for PS4.
The demo will run from October 9th until October 12th, though you’ll be able to pre-load the demo a few days earlier if you’re a PS Plus subscriber. This means you won’t be wasting any time during the limited demo waiting for the game to actually download. Is it really worth locking behind PS Plus, though? We’re not so sure…
The demo will give you a taste of what’s to come in the full version of Gran Turismo Sport with the game’s Arcade, Sport, and Campaign modes. Naturally you won’t be able to do too much during the demo, but whatever you do achieve/collect will be transferred to the full game if you decide to buy GT Sport after the demo period has ended.
Unfortunately for PSVR owners there is no way to test the PSVR mode before release. The GT Sport demo doesn’t include any PSVR content at all, so if you’re gearing up for Gran Turismo Sport with PSVR in mind, it may be best to wait until the game is out and people have had the chance to test it out. We’ll most likely be giving the game a go sometime around the game’s release, so we’ll do out best to give you a fair evaluation of GT Sport’s PSVR mode and if it’s any good.
Will you be strapping in for the demo, or are you avoiding this one? Start your engines down in the comments section down below.
