The year of delays strikes again! This time it’s for Gravity Rush 2 which was suppose to release on December 2nd. Game director, Keiichiro Toyama, announced over on the PlayStation Blog that although development is going smoothly, the release date expectations have changed. As such the new launch date is January 20th, 2017 for North America and January 18th, 2017 for Europe. It looks like the main reason for the delay is a reacquired focus on the game’s asynchronous player interaction.
To make it up to everyone, Toyama-san also announced that premium, story DLC will be released free of charge. Of course there were apologies but we understand a developer wanting to take the appropriate amount of time to make their baby the best it can be. What are you thoughts on the delay or the recent string of them? Let us know!
