Gungrave VR is yet another PSVR shooter coming to the platform later this year. Not that I’m complaining – it’s always fund to dual wield pistols and other deadly weapons without the risk of actually hurting someone (getting hit with a PS Move wand doesn’t count.)
Gungrave VR’s publisher, XSeed Games, has revealed the contents of the physical release, dubbed the “Loaded Coffin Edition” that will compliment the digital PSN release.
- PlayStation®VR for PlayStation®4 system game
- GUNGRAVE VR U.N Standalone DLC
- 3 New Levels
- Challenging new side-scrolling and sliding gameplay
- 3D sound system
- New Opening and Ending animated movies
So if you opt for the Loaded Coffin Edition, you’ll get the game as well as the episode DLC. This edition comes with an MSRP of $39.99, though the press releases notes that Episode 1 will be available digitally for $29.99, with the standalone DLC available to buy on its own for $14.99, and that it’s playable without the base game.
There’s nothing about other regional pricing at the moment, so if you’re in the UK/EU, just assume it’ll be somewhere around the £35/35€ mark.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
