Hamsterdam, the action brawler from Muse Games, has a brand new trailer that’s all about crazy combos, dodging bombs, and, er, riding a scooter…
The latest trailer is focused on gameplay and seeing the game in action. The trailer is embedded up above for your viewing pleasure.
If you’re wondering what Hamsterdam is all about, then you’re not alone. I must admit that I’ve not really heard much about until today. Basically, Hamsterdam is a place being overrun by bad guys. A bit like Amsterdam. You play as a plucky hamster who’s a master in the ancient art of Hamster-Fu, and it’s your job to clean up the city by beating bad guys to a pulp. That’s the short of it, basically.
It looks pretty decent and there’s a free demo to download onto iOS and Android devices. However, this is one game that won’t be releasing on PS4, at least not at first. Instead, Hamsterdam is targeting mobile platforms such as mobile phones and PS Vita as they can offer more touch-orientated controls that Hamsterdam makes use of.
If you’re put off by the idea of touch controls, you can always have a play around with the demo to see if it’s for you or not. You can find a link to the demo over on the game’s Kickstarter page where there are 33 hours to go, though the game has already been fully funded by eager backers.
