Hood: Outlaws and Legends Reveals The Ranger in New Gameplay Trailer

Hood: Outlaws and Legends is an upcoming multiplayer game (PvPvE) coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC later this year. Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive have presented a new gameplay trailer for us to tuck in to.

Robin Hood is the legend that never dies but instead gets reincarnated every few years in movies, TV, and even games. Like an old-timey James Bond, then.

There are no martinis being shaken in the latest trailer, mind you, even though we’re introduced to the man himself in his latest reincarnation, The Ranger – a slick and sly warrior.

The trailer gives us a brief overview of the character’s abilities and skills that will come in handy during online battles. There are four classes, and The Ranger is one of them.

The Ranger hunts best from the shadows, scouting out enemies and tagging them for teammates to see. He can also use his longbow to shoot ropes down that friendly players can use to scale walls.

Have a gander at the video below to hear more from the developer and to see the game running. It looks good, to be fair, but you’ll have to wait until May 10th to try it for yourself. Or, pre-order and you’ll get three days of early access, meaning you’ll get the game on May 7th, 2021.
