Near everyone has played or seen hunting games at arcades or amusement parks. Big Buck Hunter springs to mind in particular but that was generations ago in video game console terms. Enter developer Neopica and the aptly named Hunting Simulator. The team is looking to create the adventure of the hunt in a true-to-life portrayal of the wild for PlayStation 4. You can expect single and multiplayer modes within areas such as the mountains of Colorado, the forests of France, and the plains of Alaska. There will be over thirty five species of animals to hunt and hundreds of objectives within the campaign, free hunt, and shooting practice modes.
Of course you’ll have an arsenal at your fingertips. Weapons range from rifles, crossbows, and normal bows while accessories include hunting calls, lures, and wind indicators. Also, you’ll have your very own drone to check your surroundings. No word on if it can do more but having a drone do all the work would be cheating. Sadly, there was no mention of a release window and we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
Hunting Simulator is being developed by Neopica. Gamers might know them as the group behind the “I Love My ___” series of titles and other animal based experiences. We’re pretty confident in saying that there will be no love towards the animals in their latest endeavor.
