Infinity Ward’s Ban Hammer Claims 70,000 Call of Duty: Warzone Victims

Cheaters are the worst, and that’s something we can all agree on. We’ve all come across them at some point, especially if you’ve tried to play any older games in recent times. Unfortunately, it’s not just older games that are being overrun by naughty boys and girls, but also newer releases, like Infinity Ward’s free-to-play shooter, Call of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone has been a breeding ground for cheats, but Infinity Ward is on top of it. The developer has announced over on its official Twitter account that over 70,000 cheaters have been banned from the game, and that the developer is constantly on the lookout for cheaters.

It’s good to see that the developer is dedicated to keeping its game clean, but it’s a shame that older games are left to die. If you try to play any of the last-gen games in multiplayer, you’re gonna have a bad time. Here’s hoping the cheaters are deterred, and that those who arent are eventually thrown in the digital gulag.
