Injustice 2 is getting another fighter in the form of Atom, who has been announced in a new trailer as the latest addition to the fisticuffs-in-capes game. Turns out short asses can put up quite a fight.
Atom, aka Ryan Choi, has the ability to shrink in size, having taken over the guise from the original Atom, and his mentor, Ray Palmer. NetherRealm Studios describe him as someone who is searching for his missing friend, and determined to fight for justice in the process.
As of yet, a release date for Atom has not been divulged; Raiden has only been out for a day or so, so we expect quite a wait, especially as Hellboy is still missing from the Fighter Pack No.2, which makes Atom’s announcement even more bemusing. Who knows, maybe he’ll be the start of Fighter Pack No.3. We were told that there would be a total of nine premium characters.
In the meantime do check out the trailer above, and watch in awe as the blue dot of a man shows the other hulks how it should be done.
