Insomniac Games has uploaded a new trailer onto its YouTube channel entitled ‘What’s Next?’ We understand that this is a PlayStation site and Insomniac has made exclusive games for other platforms in the past – we’re looking at you, Sunset Overdrive – but there is a high chance that this game will appear on PS4, either as an exclusive or a multi-platform game, hence why we’re reporting on it. The trailer, which you can check out below, doesn’t show a whole lot off, bar what looks like a magical, underwater adventure, or something like that. However it doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait too long to find out more, because the trailer ends with these words: ‘dive deeper, January 28th, 8:30 CT.
The underwater setting would be perfect for some PlayStation VR exploration, but that’s unlikely because it looks more like a 2D side-scroller. Then again this is only a teaser and the full game could look vastly different. In the meantime, Insomniac is working on a Ratchet and Clank reboot for the PS4, which should be out later this year on April 12th in America, April 15th in France, April 20th in Europe, and lastly April 22nd in the UK.
For more information on Insomniac’s new game check back with us on the 28th of this month, just two days to wait! Here is the teaser:
Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
