What is happening?!?! We’ve already had Final Fantasy VII Remake delayed, Cyberpunk 2077 delayed, Marvel’s Avengers delayed, and now Iron Man VR is the latest PS4 game to get its release date pushed back. Will any games actually release on time in 2020? Will the PS5 release this year? Will dinner be ready tonight? The world has been thrown into chaos.
Iron Man VR developer Camouflaj has announced today via its official Twitter account that Iron Man VR is being delayed. Originally slated to release on February 28th, Iron Man VR for PSVR will now release on May 15th, 2020. Granted, it’s not that much of a delay – Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be five months late – but it’s still a good few weeks of extra waiting.
The developer tweeted the following:
“In order to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations of our amazing community, we’ve made the difficult decision to move Marvel’s Iron Man VR to a May 15, 2020 release. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. You’ll be hearing from us again soon!”
If it means a better game, then fair enough. It’s still massively disappointing, mind you, but there are bigger problems to think about in this world, so it’s swings and roundabouts.
