The worst kept secret in gaming has officially leaked online ahead of its official release. Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is due to release on March 31st, 2020, but some players are already playing the game and posting gameplay clips to Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, among others.
One of the big questions that is reasonable to ask is whether the controversial ‘No Russian’ mission in the single-player campaign is still included. Well, we can answer that with the gameplay video up above. Yes, yes it is.
Some had speculated that Activision might remove the level due to the sensitive nature of mass shootings, but it looks like Activision hasn’t pulled any punches with the Modern Warfare 2 Remaster release as the mission is still fully playable and intact.
Modern Warfare 2 Remastered only contains the game’s campaign and no multiplayer of any kind, not even the much-loved Spec Ops mode. The game will officially release tomorrow on March 31st for PS4 and Xbox One via digital release. The game will supposedly offer improved graphics, resolution, performance, and HDR.
