Flight School Studio has announced its newest game today with Island Time VR for PS4/PSVR.
From the press release:
After a journey at sea, you are shipwrecked on a tiny island. Using your wit, ingenuity and the advice of your new buddy, Carl the Crab, you’ve gotta find a way to keep yourself from starving and survive. Craft tools, fend off creatures, try to signal an airplane… or you could just give up and die? Maybe, just enjoy the sunset while you can. Almost makes you forget that you’re in a desperate struggle against your own mortality.
“Island Time VR is a comedy survival game where you play on an island the size of a coffee table,” said Adam Volker, Creative Director at Flight School Studio. “The game’s difficulty curve and secrets are designed to be discovered over multiple playthroughs. The player might craft a new item or find new foodstuffs they haven’t seen before. This trial and error is what teaches players to survive as long as they can.“
There’s no release date as of yet for Island Time VR, though if you’re interested in going hands-on with the game then you’ll be able to at this year’s SXSW in booth 2266, while us lucky media folk can get our hands on the game at this year’s GDC before the full release this Spring 2018.
