Sean Bean knows how to die. In television and film, when you to see someone take a sword or bullet, he’s the guy you call. It’s almost a typecasting law in Hollywood at this point, so Warner Bros. wisely chose him as the first elusive target for Hitman 2.
He will be the voice of target, Mark Faba. Known as “The Undying” (sweet irony), he spends the introduction video explaining how he has managed to cheat death while dealing it to his enemies in unlimited ways. It’s a clever trailer, and I would love to see more of these used to show your next elusive target in the game.
For those unfamiliar, elusive targets are limited opportunity assassinations. You only have one shot to kill a VIP, and the mission is generally only available for a week. It is free to play for anyone who purchases the game, and you can earn some nice rewards for your trouble.
Hitman 2 puts you back into the black-gloved hands of Agent 47 as he kills his way around the world. With more freedom and tools, you have more options in how you complete a contract. It also introduces the Sniper Assassin mode that lets you kill with a buddy in online co-op.
Hitman 2 will release on November 13th.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
