Just Cause 4 Fails to Grapple Its Way Up the UK Charts

Physical sales of Just Cause 4 were the slowest in the franchise’s history, according to recently published data by Game Industry dot biz. And despite the figures not including the modern incarnation that is digital, there are doubts that the latest edition has even managed to trounce its PlayStation 2 inspiration.

Or if it has, not by much.

This will obviously come as a blow to the team behind Rico Rodriguez’s latest adventure. Especially when you consider all the bells and whistles they managed to include – tornadoes, lightning, differing biomes. But it seems as though the Terminator-esque protagonist is failing to grapple his way on to the shelves of gamers, at least in the UK.

In the end, it reached sixth in the charts.

As for the remainder of that hotly contested top ten, FIFA 19 was pushed to third as Red Dead Redemption 2 galloped into second, whilst the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Battlefield V and Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle were the other PlayStation 4 titles.

Does this mean there is Just Cause 4 concern? Does that joke even work? Let us know, either way, in the comments section below.
