With Mortal Kombat 11 a little more than two months away, we have a chance to meet the characters who will be tearing each other to bits. Kabal has never been a favorite of mine, but I may have to give him a second glance. Wielding dual hook swords, he skewers his opponents, slices them into ribbons, and slams them into the ground, keeping them off balance and ready for a follow up attack. He moves quickly, so think about where you don’t want a crooked sword sticking out of you, before you throw that punch.
You may not know that he is an evil resurrected form of himself and only wants to end the other realms. How evil is he? Before the end of the trailer we see his intense and gory finishing move, and you need to see it. Wow. It’s the stuff of nightmares for the early 90s parents who complained about the now cartoony violence in the early games.
Mortal Kombat 11 will pull out spines and slice apart foes starting April 23rd.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
