Kandagawa Jet Girls Races to Release on August 25th

Summer is hot, but you can cool down next month with the release of Kandagawa Jet Girls on August 25th. The team-based, water racer from the creators of Senran Kagura (no surprise to anyone who’s watched the trailer) will be offering players a chance to win the Kandagawa Cup. It starts with picking a good team, and the game will give you seven different pairs, including Ryobi and Ryona from the Hebijo Clandestine Girls Academy with more Senran Kagura characters in paid DLC. The person in front, the jetter, drives the jet machine, navigates the water obstacles, and helps perform tricks, and the person in back, the shooter, fires water missiles and mines to trip up the competition.

When you’re not on a tough course, you can relax with some customization or earn some extra cash. The trailer shows multiple options to customize the characters’ clothes and hair color. To make sure you stand out on the course, you can customize your jet machine too. Four different extracurricular activities are shown in the trailer, and this should give you some extra spending money.

If you buy Kandagawa Jet Girls digitally, you can pick up a regular version for $49.99 or a digital deluxe edition for $59.99. Fans of physical releases can grab the Racing Hearts edition for $59.99 from the XSEED Games Store. It will include the game, a 2-disc soundtrack, and a 64-page art book. I’ll pop a picture of the physical edition at the bottom.

Kandagawa Jet Girls will make a splash digitally and at retail on August 25th.
