A magical adventure waits a little longer.
Ember Lab Team, the developer behind the upcoming Kena: Bridge of Spirits, has announced that the game will not be meeting its original August release date as it has been delayed until September.
The new Kena: Bridge of Spirits release date is now September 21st for all consoles. The reason given for the delay is that Ember Lab Team wants to polish the game further on all platforms and the team will use this extra few weeks to make the game the “best experience possible.”
“We have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Kena until September 21st to polish the game across all platforms. The team has been working extremely hard and we feel the extra time is critical to ensure the best experience possible.
We know many of you are eager to play and we appreciate your patience as the team continues to work on delivering the best version Kena.
Thank you for your amazing support!
The Ember Lab Team”
As I always say – shame, but for the best, probably. If the developer is looking at its product and saying “not good enough” then we should trust the judgement of the experts. It’s better to delay the game by a few weeks and get it right rather than release the game in a sub-par condition. We’ve all see the consequences of that happening and it’s never pretty. Sometimes it’s downright horrifying…
