Left 4 Dead 2 Cast Join Zombie Army 4

It’s good to see some old faces .

The beloved cast of Left 4 Dead 2 is returning in a blaze of glory in the new Zombie Army 4 DLC ‘Return to Hell’.

The new update brings Coach, Nick, Ellis, and Rochelle back to raise some hell – this time in third person – in an entirely free character pack much in the same way that the characters from the original Left 4 Dead were introduced in the Left 4 Dead Crossover DLC pack in June. I’m particularly excited to hear more stories from my favourite redneck Ellis about his buddy Kieth. I think Kieth should be in the next DLC.

Return to Hell also includes some new story DLC which will serve as the culmination of the three-part season 3 DLC storyline. The latest instalment sees the team thrust into the underworld where they have to survive a psychological hellscape within the confines of Elfram Schweiger’s mind in order to save him from the occult mastermind, Baron Umbra.

Players will have access to the new flare gun to fight off the hordes of undead along with firework and cannonball charms to really pack an extra punch. On top of that, there’s also an appropriately themed horror headgear pack included in the DLC as well as a number of weapon skins available based on the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing.

Zombie Army 4’s Return to Hell DLC is available as part of the Season Pass 3, but don’t be discouraged, Return to Hell can be bought as a standalone purchase. Even at that, you’ll still have the chance to fight against the horde as the Left 4 Dead 2 cast as the character pack is available for free, for all players, right now.

Zombie Army 4 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and is also playable on next-gen consoles with brand new features.
