A new trailer was released today for Lego City Undercover, and it looks amazing. The game will focus on officer Chase McCain as he goes undercover to stop the crime spree by the notorious Rex Fury. It will be an open-world game with over 20 districts to explore, and all the quirky humor has carried over from past games.
In the last decade or so, Lego has had an amazing transformation from the toys that parents hope will turn their kids into highly paid engineers to a toy, game, and movie empire. If you tried to buy Legos for someone over the holiday, you know that they will be the actual currency after the apocalypse, not gold or bottle caps.
We only have the ambiguous Spring 2017 launch date, but we look forward to seeing more from this game soon.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
