Sony has announced today via its official Twitter account that LEGO The Incredibles will be releasing on PS4 this June15th, much to the surprise of nobody. The game was recently leaked via retailers so it was only a matter of time before we got an official announcement.
The announcement comes with a trailer, too, that indicates the game will cover both the original movie as well as the upcoming film that’s due out this summer. Are we excited? You bet your bricks we are, and you should be too. It’s been a long time coming, but The Incredibles are back in the limelight.
Update: We made a boo-boo with the release date – the official press release that has just come in states July 15th, the same day as the movie’s theatrical release.
Update #2: We. Are. Confused. There seem to be multiple release dates for LEGO The Incredibles. There’s a trailer on the European PlayStation Twitter that states July 13th. Then there’s the trailer released by Warner Bros. that says June 15th, the same date as given in the press release. At the moment, we can’t be 100% sure when it comes to dates but we are working on getting confirmation.
