It seems like only yesterday when Little Nightmares stole our heart by being incredibly creepy and grotesque. Back in August, developer Tarsier Studios revealed the title with the aim of recreating childhood fears. You can now expect that to happen on April 28th for the PlayStation 4 as revealed by the trailer above. Don’t those cooks just look unnerving? In addition to the release date, publisher Bandai Namco revealed some nifty pre-order incentives by way of digital and boxed versions.
If you pre-order through the PlayStation Store, you’ll receive The Scarecrow Sack and Upside-down Teapot Masks that hopefully let the main hero blend in with the monstrosities of the Maw. There’s also an exclusive PS4 theme to attain. Retailer GAME will have a special version titled, The Six Edition. It will come with a ten centimeter high statue of a figurine stuck in a cage, the original soundtrack by composer Tobias Lilja, and an A3 poster and sticker board.
Little Nightmares is developed by Tarsier Studios and tells the tale of Six. She’s trapped in a hell known as the Maw that makes gamers confront their childhood fears. All the while she has to survive the corrupted souls that inhabit this place who may very well want her for their next meal.
