Live-Action Psychological Thriller, The Bunker, Gets PS4 Release Date & Trailer

Wales Interactive and Splendy Games revealed their unique creation, The Bunker, earlier this year. Today they announced that it’s coming to the PlayStation 4 sometime in September. As stated, the title is a live-action psychological thriller that actually has a bit of star power. The Bunker features the talent of Sarah Greene (Assassin’s Creed 3,) Grahame Fox (Game of Thrones,) and Jerome St. John Blake (The Fifth Element.)

In the game you play as a boy born in an underground, nuclear bunker run by the government. Coincidentally your birth coincided with the world ending thanks to “bombs.” Thirty years later and you’re the only one left in the bunker. You cope with this by following a very specific set of routines until an alarm is triggered. From here you travel farther and farther into the bunker, discovering forgotten areas and revealing dark secrets.

The entire game was filmed, in full HD, on location in Essex, England in a real decommissioned nuclear bunker. The Bunker was shot in such a way so you’d receive a cinematic experience and a traditional point-and-click adventure. Also, the script was penned by screenwriters from The Witcher, Broken Sword, and SOMA.
