Lovecraftian Game, Conarium, Looking to Chill Us to the Bone

Developer Zoetrope Interactive and publisher Iceberg Interactive have announced quite a unique title. Conarium follows four scientists and their drive to challenge the absolute limits of nature. You play as Frank Gilman, a professor from Miskatonic University, attempting to pass beyond the limits of human consciousness. You try and do this by utilizing a mysterious device only known as the Conarium. Upon using it, Frank wakes up in an Antarctic expedition base and remembers nothing. He then finds out that death is a feature in this game. When you die, you’ll be teleported to a different location with additional secrets about the game’s premise.

For fellow Lovecraft fans out there, know that this story takes place after At the Mountains of Madness. H.P. Lovecraft’s tale of elder races, ancient evils, and stumbling upon things one was never meant to see. Conarium currently has a release date of early 2017.

Iceberg Interactive CEO, Erik Schreuder, had this to say. “We here at Iceberg love a good horror game and Zoetrope always deliver. We are excited to see them working on a new Lovecraft-inspired franchise, as I am sure will be their huge fan base.
