Zoetrope Interactive and publisher Iceberg Interactive have announced today that the Lovecraftian horror adventure Conarium will be releasing on PS4 in February 2019. At the moment that’s all we have as neither the developer nor the publisher have announced a solid release date, but at least it’s another one to add to the list of games coming out in February 2019.
The announcement comes with a new trailer, too, and you can watch it up above. Nobody will judge you if you’re watching through your fingers.
Conarium has already been released on PC via Steam where it has received mixed reviews from users, with most criticism being aimed towards bugs and glitches within the game. On the other hand, it has also been praised for its spooky atmosphere and story. Here’s hoping things have been ironed out for the console release.
- A deep and suspenseful homage to H. P. Lovecraft with many secrets and Easter eggs.
- Ominous but wonderful graphics created using the Unreal 4 engine.
- Multiple endings.
- A haunting and atmospheric soundtrack.
