This month’s PlayStation Now update is a little bit special, not just because it’s actually adding games that are worth playing. The November update is sorting the mess of 700 games into categories that Sony is dubbing “Collections”. It’s really useful, actually, and it makes browsing the content on offer much easier.
However, the games being added aren’t half bad either, with Mafia 3 leading the way, followed by Ubisoft’s overlooked Steep. There’s more, too, and they can all be streamed to your PS4 or PC, or you can download them to your PS4 console as part of your PS Now subscription. Remember, though, you can’t download PS3 games, only games that can natively run on PS4.
- Baja Edge of Control HD
- Battle Chasers: Nightwar
- Destroy All Humans! (PS2)
- Destroy All Humans! 2 (PS2)
- Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
- Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland (PS2)
- LocoRoco Remastered
- Mafia III
- Vikings: Wolves of Midgard
- World to the West
I can personally recommend Mafia 3 to anybody that loves a decent open-world with a top-tier story to keep it all together. The rest of the games… I haven’t played them so can’t pass judgement. Still, do you really need anything else other than Mafia 3?
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
