Mafia: Definitive Edition Gets a New Release Date, Short Delay for Vito’s Return

2K Games has announced today a new release date for Mafia: Definitive Edition, and thankfully the wait won’t be too long. Instead of its original release date of August 28th, 2020, Mafia Definitive Edition will now release on September 25th, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The announcement does come with some good news, mind you, and the first is that there’s a new teaser trailer that you can watch up above, and the second is that there will be a fully gameplay reveal later this month.

The reason for the game’s delay is the usual suspect at this point: the God Damn Rona, but we’ll see the fruit’s of Hangar 13’s labour in a gameplay reveal coming on July 22nd. There’s no information on where and exactly when, but I expect 2K and Hangar 13 will announce the exact timing and where to catch the Mafia: Definitive Edition gameplay reveal.
