Marvel’s Avengers Launches Omega Level Threat In Free Update

Omega Level Threat: Family Reunion is the first end-game challenge in the newest update for Marvel’s Avengers.

Marvel’s Avengers first end-game challenge pits players against the Super Adaptoid and is available in the newest update which is available to download now.

An Omega Level Threat promises to deliver the most challenging missions in the game to date and requires a 4 player strike party at level 145 or even 150 which is currently the maximum power level players can reach.

The risk is worth the reward however, players can run the mission as many times as they need to and while a challenging experience is expected, Omega Level Threats can provide the highest end gear for players for success once per week.

Players have longed for end-game challenges to be added to Marvel’s Avengers and project director Josh Bapst hopes that the newest update will live up to expectations “End-game multiplayer content like Omega-Level Threat missions and multiplayer Mega Hives are at the top of our players’ wishlists, so we’re excited to deliver this update today.”

The newest update also contains another much-requested feature which will now allow players to run multiple Mega Hive missions with other players. The multiple heroes feature that first debuted in April during the Tachyon Anomaly event will now be a permanent fixture going forward. This means that players can now form teams with more than one version of the same character going forward.

There are plenty of more updates to come following the reveal of Marvel’s Avengers 2021 roadmap earlier this year, including MCU-inspired costumes which no doubt will please some, new mission types, and most excitingly new story-based DLC focusing on Black Panther in War for Wakanda.
