Metro Exodus’ Second DLC ‘Sam’s Story’ Searches Out America on February 11th

Deep Silver and 4A Games, the publishing/developer partnership, have announced that Metro Exodus‘ second download content, titled Sam’s Story, will be releasing early next month on PS4.

Sam’s Story follows a new playable character who, as you may have guessed, is called Sam. He’s a former U.S Marine, and so he’s naturally handy with weapons, and he has spent his time mooching around Moscow’s subway system, eeking out an existence in a world that doesn’t want humanity to exist. He’s sick of it, and he wants to go back to America. Fair enough. He’s hoping that perhaps some American cities survived the nuclear war that ravaged society and sent humans down to the tunnels.

The DLC is described as being a ‘sandbox survival’ level with a gripping storyline, new characters, weapons, and of course, new bastard monsters to blast in the bollocks. That’s all you really need, isn’t it?

Sam’s Story will release on February 11th, 2020 on PS4. If you’ve got the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass, you’ll be able to download and play Sam’s Story without paying anything extra. If you don’t have the pass, you can pick and choose which expansions you want, but at a slightly higher average price.
