Has anyone been asking for a Minecraft movie? No? Well we’re getting one anyway, whether we like it or not. Mojang has just announced that Minecraft: The Movie will be releasing on May 24th, 2019 in cinemas. It’ll be available to watch in 3D and IMAX, too.
The studio behind the game posted an official blog post over on its website that didn’t really give that much away other than the release date. We imagine we’ll see and hear more before 2019 rolls around, though do we really want to?
