If, like me, you’re itching to have a go of Frozenbyte’s Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, you may get the chance to go hands-on with the game next month. Of course, you’ll need to be in Los Angeles and have either a media badge or a gamer pass (which costs,) but the chance is there.
Modus Games, which is publishing Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, has confirmed today which of its upcoming games will be in attendance at E3 2019 next month. Obviously, Trine 4 will be there and will be playable on the show floor. Awesome.
The other games being brought along for public demonstration are Lost Words: Beyond the Page, a groundbreaking platformer being developed by Sketchbook Games. The award-winning adventure game Ary and the Secret of Seasons will also be present, as will Bear With Me: The Lost Robots. There is also a cheeky extra that has not yet been announced. The press release says that the unannounced JRPG is a “visually striking and ambitions” game.
It’s also worth noting that not all of the games will be playable during E3. The press release only mentioned that Trine 4 would be playable on the show floor and that four of the five games will be playable, though no specifics were noted. If I had to put money on it, I’d say the unannounced JRPG will not be playable, but it’ll still be fun to see a new game be shown off.
