News has emerged of a Mortal Kombat 11 beta, scheduled to take place the month before launch. But as is becoming increasingly common, it will be exclusively available to combatants who’ve armed themselves with a pre-order. This leaves anyone still on the fence having to decide which side they’re going to jump off, though the temptation of Shao Kahn as a bonus for doing the “right” thing can only help.
The beta is currently set to whoop us into (bad) shape on March 28th, which is more than enough time to secure yourself a place. But NetherRealm Studios are yet to elaborate on what will actually be open to try. We can only assume a small roster of fighters with online matchmaking.
Just in case you missed it, the game received a large string of announcements just one day a go, including the hotly anticipated full reveal trailer. You can find our coverage of it here.
