A new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 released today, and it shows the time traveling mechanic. In the game’s story, some of the characters will meet different or past versions of themselves. Some may have made different choices, and some of them may be why you made other choices.
Johnny Cage meets his younger, cockier self from the 90s. The older version is a little more tame and has seen a few things. No one should be surprised that young Cage and old Cage don’t like each other. It seems like one thinks he’ll never be that old, and the other can’t believe he ever acted like that. (However, if you say you don’t like Johnny Cage at all, you are probably lying or suffering some form of mental derangement. Get yourself fixed up, OK? We care about you.)
All absolutely terrible jokes aside, the trailer is great. Give it a watch, and keep a spare pair of sunglasses handy for Mortal Kombat 11’s launch on April 23rd.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
